Frequently Asked Questions
Why does coverage per liter matter so much?
Coverage varies a lot between paint types and surfaces (smooth vs textured, primed vs unprimed), so using your specific paint's stated coverage rate gives a much more accurate estimate than a generic assumption.
Should I buy extra paint beyond the calculated amount?
It's generally wise to add a small buffer (around 10%) for touch-ups, uneven application and future repairs, since paint batches can vary slightly in color between purchases.
