Philippines Estate Tax Calculator

Estimate the 6% flat estate tax due on a deceased person’s net estate.

This is an estimate for general informational purposes only, not tax or legal advice. It does not account for every possible deduction (e.g. funeral expenses under the old rules, unpaid mortgages, vanishing deductions) — consult a tax professional or the BIR for a complete computation.

Under the TRAIN Law, the Philippines charges a flat 6% estate tax on the net estate — the gross estate less allowable deductions, which include a standard ₱5,000,000 deduction and up to ₱10,000,000 for the family home.

Example

  • With the default values shown above, this calculator returns: Family Home Deduction (capped) ≈ PHP 6,000,000.00; Net Taxable Estate ≈ PHP 3,500,000.00; Estate Tax Due (6%) ≈ PHP 210,000.00.
