UK ISA Allowance Tracker

Track how much of your £20,000 annual ISA allowance you have used and how much remains.

This is an estimate for general informational purposes only. It tracks your combined ISA allowance across all ISA types opened this tax year — the Lifetime ISA has its own separate £4,000 sub-limit within the overall £20,000.

Every UK adult has a £20,000 ISA allowance each tax year, which can be split in any combination across Cash ISAs, Stocks & Shares ISAs, Innovative Finance ISAs and a Lifetime ISA (up to £4,000 of the £20,000 in a Lifetime ISA).

Example

  • With the default values shown above, this calculator returns: Remaining Allowance ≈ GBP 12,000.00; Remaining After Planned Deposit ≈ GBP 7,000.00; Amount Over Allowance (if any) ≈ GBP 0.00.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I split my ISA allowance across different providers?

Yes — since April 2024 you can pay into multiple ISAs of the same type in one tax year, as long as your total contributions across all ISAs do not exceed £20,000.

Does unused ISA allowance roll over?

No. Any unused ISA allowance is lost at the end of the tax year (5 April) and does not carry forward — the allowance resets to £20,000 on 6 April.
