Frequently Asked Questions
Do the weights need to add up to 100?
No — weights are treated as relative proportions to each other, so 2, 3 and 5 works exactly the same as 20%, 30% and 50%.
What if I only have two values?
Set the third weight to 0, which removes its influence on the weighted average entirely.
