This is an estimate for general informational purposes only, for an employee who has completed at least one year of service. It is capped at two years’ total wages as required by law, calculated on basic salary only (allowances such as housing or transport are excluded).

Under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021, an employee who completes at least one year of service is entitled to gratuity of 21 days’ basic salary for each of the first 5 years of service, and 30 days’ basic salary for each year beyond that — calculated on basic salary only, excluding allowances.
